Japan transport ministry has a plan to halve the aircraft fuel tax for domestic flights for enhancing their global competitiveness. The ministry's plan is to reduce the fuel tax from 26,ooo yen to 13,000 yen per kiloliter. They said this reduction is the first air cut in aircraft fuel tax since 1972.
Personally, I think this plan should be encouraged by several sections in Japan in order to refain it country efficiently.
